There are two different types of skylights installed. Curb Mounted Skylight is a one and the other is a self-flashing skylight. The curb mounted skylights on the roof curb must have a pre-opening. The self-flashing skylight has been installed on the curb and the skylight.

Installation of a Curb Mount Skylight:

Step One:

Construct curb (usually wood 2 x 4 or larger). The size should be the same inside curb of your roof (ie, model # 2626internal dimensions of the curb should be 22 4.1 "x 22 1 / 4")

Step Two:

Attach the brake on the roof terrace to the desired location (roofing felt should be in the first place). Toenail halt to the roof terrace or roof beams. Run command to the shingles off at the bottom.

Step Three:
